Trump's Family Member Gets Expert Tips from Golf Legend Woods Prior to Professional Golf Debut
The rising star boasts substantial social media presence
Kai Trump can count on multiple well-known supporters as she makes her professional golf debut later this week.
This teenage golfer, who is connected to a former US president, received a sponsor's invitation to participate at the Annika competition in Florida.
Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, owns numerous international courses and frequently plays against his granddaughter.
"He's fairly competent. I can't say much but we have tight competitions," she revealed.
She mentioned that Trump, who cannot attend, advised her: "Simply avoid anxiety."
"My grandpa practically suggested to play and enjoy myself," she added.
"To me, he's just a regular grandfather. He can't make it this weekend. He's occupied with presidential duties, so he's somewhat preoccupied."
As an amateur, the golfer has played in only three events in 2024 and has the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association standings.
However she's able to get advice from golf legend, romantically involved with Kai's mother.
"He stands as the top athlete in the world," Kai expressed.
"Furthermore, he's an even better person. He advised me to compete, enjoy myself, adapting to whatever happens."
Kai will face some of most prominent players in professional golf at the competition, such as world number two Nelly Korda, British golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.
Tournament organizers mentioned that involving Kai brings the sport to wider groups, specifically reaching younger fans.
The young star has a massive following and recently launched her own apparel and wellness label.
Her first tee time at late afternoon GMT.
